Broadening Educational Opportunities
in New Hampshire
NHEOA is a non-profit organization that brings together professionals in programs that support and prepare traditionally underserved students for success in education. These students are often the first generation in their family to attend college.
The students we assist exhibit and/or come from backgrounds that reflect the following factors:
low family income
parental educational limitations
disabilities
Organizational Mission
The Association shall be particularly concerned with those students who because of socio-economic status and/or disabilities, find themselves in a position of disadvantage with respect to traditional students.
Objective 1
Expand access to and increase success in formal post-secondary education for low-income, first-generation college students, and college students with disabilities.
Objective 2
Increase the skills and knowledge educational opportunity program personnel are able to effectively use to meet the needs of the TRIO-eligible population.
Objective 3
Increase the organizational capacity of NHEOA to advance our advocacy and professional development activities.
